Steve VanDenburgh is the President of Cathedral Oaks Consulting. Prior to forming the firm, he worked for 26 years at dynamic California "councils of government", administering federal, state and sales-tax measure programs that delivered billions of dollars of highway, transit, bicycle, pedestrian and goods movement projects. He has a proven track record in capital project management, strategic planning, and project and program financing.  Steve is known for being a resourceful and innovative problem solver, focused on delivering measurable results and outcomes.  The talented staff he recruited, trained and lead during his public service were empowered by his management style and consistently delivered results that exceeded expectations.

Steve has a Master of Public Administration degree from the Maxwell School of Citizenship & Public Affairs at Syracuse University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and History from St. John Fisher College.  ​
